Southglade Park
An attractive park that provides excellent views across the city. The wooded area provides a haven for wildlife with a number of species of birds including Green Woodpeckers and Kestrels.
The new skate park has been designed by skate professionals with the help of local skateboarders and young people. It offers facilities for all abilities ranging from beginners to advanced and will also appeal to other wheeled sports such as roller blades and BMX's and is a fantastic way to keep fit and make new friends at the same time. Skateboarding has seen a sharp rise in participants over the last decade so why not come along and give it a go. Alternatively, there are two Health Walks you can take around the site and you can find a map on site or you can download it from our website.
