Local information
All of our libraries keep information about their local area, both historical and current, including books, maps,details of local groups and events and much more.
The Local Studies Library, based in Nottingham Central Library, has the main collection of material relating to Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, including books, newspapers, magazines, maps, photographs and an oral history collection.
The library service maintains an extensive database of local societies and organisations, called NOTTLOG. This is available to search online - you can also add details for a group that isn't included.
