School term dates in Nottingham City
On this page you will find the school term dates and INSET days for Nottingham.
Both the 2012-2013 school term dates (3 term pattern) and proposed 2013-2014 school term dates (5 term pattern) are now available. 2013-2014 would be the first school year to use the new 5 term pattern if approved.

Changes to School Terms and Holidays
School term dates in 2011-2012
This pattern gives 194 working days for staff including the administration day on Monday 5 September 2011.
A total of 4 in-service training days for staff will be taken by each school from the 193 term days given below, leaving 189 term days for pupils. This is a reduction of 1 term day for pupils and staff to reflect that school-based staff and pupils should benefit for the extra public holiday granted to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, which falls within the Whitsun half term holiday.
