National Bookstart Week- Party,Party.Party

Bookstart, now in its 20th year, offers the gift of free books to all children at two key ages before they start school, to inspire a love of reading that will give children a flying start in life. National Bookstart Week runs from 11–17 June 2012 and celebrates the importance of reading from an early age. There will be family events around libraries in the city - be sure not to miss our annual celebration of sharing stories, books and rhymes! all parties are FREE, there’ll be lots of fun events and maybe even a visit from the Bookstart Bear!
