Pokunilla: An evening of performance with Shane Shambhu

A classical Bharatanatyam work portrayed within a contemporary idiom. During this intimate session Shane Shambhu will perform a traditional Indian dance work (classical Bharatanatyam), presented alongside an artist-in-conversation and ending with a performance of ‘Dr Jagad and Mr Haridas’ - a fresh, comical and imaginative take on the late 19th Century story reflecting on modern science and identity. The performance will be followed by a Q&A led by Dance 4.
