Movement and music are fused into a unique and profound synthesis in the work of Richard Alston Dance Company. For the company’s eagerly awaited return, Richard Alston has chosen a diverse collection of composers. The evening includes Unfinished Business, danced to the beautiful, lucid and flowing music of Mozart’s unfinished piano sonata, Opus K533, and Alston’s iconic work Roughcut, choreographed to Steve Reich’s shimmeringly beautiful New York and Electric Counterpoints.
