East of England Singers New Classical Players Vivaldi Dixit Dominus Caldara Magnificat Sammartini Sinfonia in A major Corelli Concerto Grosso Op 6 No 10 Angela Kay conductor With a glass of Italian wine to greet you on your arrival, a concert to celebrate the youthful freshness and energy of festive Italian Baroque music. The East of England Singers and New Classical Players partner Vivaldi’s stunning Dixit Dominus, scored for double choir and two orchestras, with an impressive Magnificat by his near contemporary, Antonio Caldara. Sparkling orchestral pieces by Corelli and Sammartini add to the intoxicating mix - this concert will linger long in the memory.
