A Neighbourhood Regeneration team has been established to look at the redevelopment of Nottingham's neighbourhoods over a 10 - 15 year period to enable all areas of Nottingham to become neighbourhoods of choice.

Some of the issues to be considered that effect neighbourhoods include:

• Housing
• Crime
• Education
• Transport
• Health

Three Neighbourhood Regeneration teams have been created which will address the issues affecting each area in a more joined up approach to the transformation of Nottingham and its neighbourhoods. Individual Neighbourhood Plans are then created which detail the levels of intervention and investment required, consulting with residents, tenants and local stakeholders to address the physical, social and economic requirements needed to enable every area to become attractive places to live. The final plan will influence any developments or services within that area for the next 15-20 years.

The three Neighbourhood Regeneration teams will cover:

• North West Nottingham
• East Central Nottingham
• South Nottingham

One of the most important parts of ensuring we get the regeneration right is to involve the local community as they are the best people to tell us what is needed. As we look to develop Neighbourhood Regeneration in your area, consultation events will happen within your local community.
