City Pulse 2010

Nottingham's favourite FREE family party returned over May bank holiday weekend with a host of music styles to enjoy throughout the city centre. Thousands boggied the weekend away, being entertained by rock, pop, swing and tango acts accross multiple city centre venues.

City Pulse

As usual, events took place across the city centre with a range of music styles to suit everyone.

Old Market Square was transformed to present a variety of retro styles for perpetual teenagers of all vintages from 70's disco to 80's rockabilly alongside classic 60's pop and contemporary artists who gave a big nod to the past.

The Robin Hood Statue hosted a glamourous Ballroom Marquee where our legendary folk hero had a change to dance alongside many willing volunteers to a mix of salsa, tango, swing and big band!

City Pulse dancerArboretum Records @ Trinity Square was a brand new venue for 2010 on Bank Holiday Monday and hosted some of the best acts Nottingham has to offer.

As ever there was all sorts of street music popping up throughout the city centre, helping to enliven people's shopping visit, enrich your lunch and tea time experience or just presenting a pleasant surprise as people walked through the city centre.

City Pulse will be back for 2011, but in the mean time you can click here to find out about other music events in Nottingham throught the year.
