An informative museum charting the history of a local regiment, who are now part of the Mercian Regiment.

Families at the Castle 

Nottingham Castle is a great place to bring the family. The museum features interactive displays and Beyond the Sea, an activity led gallery specifically for the under 8s that brings paintings to life. A medieval style playground with undercover picnic area on the Castle green adds to the family offer, making for a fun packed day out whatever the weather.
