Find a recycling centre or tip

There is a network of local recycling sites across the city. You can take different items of household waste to be recycled at each of these sites.  Click here for a list of recycling centres.

Compost bins

It is really easy to compost at home. Not only does it reduce the waste going into your bin, it also provides free nourishment for your garden to boost your vegetables and flower beds.  The Council is working with a local partner to provide cheap composters.

Click here to visit the Great Green Systems site or phone 0800 731 2572. There is a wide range of composters, wormeries, food digesters and water butts available to City residents at discounted rates. There is free delivery on all items.
