Parks Consultations

Nottingham City Council's Parks and Open Spaces carry out public consultations for all major developments and improvements to children's play areas. On this page you will find details of the current proposals and the opportunity to have your say.

Current Consultations

Colwick Woods

Following a successful funding bid to WREN (Landfill Tax funding), Nottingham City Council has secured additional funding from Ward Councillors and Nottingham Academy, to improve the play area at Colwick Woods Park, Greenwood Road, near Nottingham Academy.

Initial consultation with local residents provided ideas for that people would like to see on the park, which primarily involved removing the old bark surface, looking to retain some of the existing equipment whilst providing a range of different equipment for a variety of abilities and ages, including a small BMX track, and improving bin and bench provision.

Please choose one of the following options and contact Martin Harris, Park Development Officer on 0115 915 2796 or email your option to Martin.Harris@nottinghamcity.gov.uk along with your postcode by Monday 22nd April.

  • Option 1 - Vote for the Eibe playground and BMX track
