Looking for a book?
We've got over 700,000 books, 20,000 CDs and 10,000 DVDs in our libraries - and our on-line catalogue can help you to find them.
Books and talking books are widely available across 17 libraries in Nottingham. If the item you want isn't in your local library, we can often get hold of a copy for you- sometimes this will mean getting it from another City or County library - sometimes we may have to obtain the item from elsewhere in the country.
CDs and DVDs are located in one main collection on Floor 3 at Nottingham Central Library- you can reserve CDs and DVD and have them delivered free when collecting from a community library, a weekly rental charge still applies.
You can use our on-line catalogue to find out if an item is available, and whether they are out on loan or on our library shelves. By using the "advanced" search facilities you can limit your search by type of item, eg. CD, DVD.
