Robin Hood re-enactment and children's theatre
The mediaeval festivities for Robin Hood month continue this weekend with something for all the family.
From the 13th to 16th May the Old Market Square will host a mediaeval market selling arts, crafts and food. The market will be complimented by artisans demonstrating a variety of period crafts. Don't miss this opportunity to buy a piece of history for yourself.
On Saturday 15th May head up to Nottingham Castle to see 'The Dogs of War', the castle's mediaeval re-enactment group, who will be talking about their deadly weapons and life in the time of Robin Hood. They will be at the castle from 11am to 5pm.
On Sunday 16th May keep the children entertained with an interactive theatre experience taking children back to a mediaeval kingdom. Shows take place at 12noon, 1.30pm and 3pm at Nottingham Castle.
