Mediaeval fun throughout Robin Hood Month
Robin Hood Month got underway with a spectacular jousting show at Nottingham Castle - don't miss out on more exciting family events throughout May.
Robin Hood Month continues this weekend with a Mediaeval Family Fun Day at Nottingham Castle, with have a go archery, tug of war, falconry shows, trebuchet demos and have a go jousting. 'Become a Knight for the Day' will appeal to medieval enthusiasts of all ages. Activities are taking place between 11am - 5pm.
In the Old Market Square you find have a go and participatory mediaeval activities such as tile making, flag making, felt making and embroidery. Draw your own Robin Hood cartoon and make your own Outlaw poster and add it to the Sheriffs Wanted Board! Activities for all ages between 10.30am – 4.30pm.

Robin Hood Month comes courtesy of Nottingham City Council, with support from Citycard. Events and activities are also being organised by Nottinghamshire County Council at Rufford Country Park, Sherwood Forest and Edwinstowe.
